Alistair Lobo
'Certain Progress' Consultant Alistair Lobo joined Nick on this show to talk about inspiring people in their everyday and business lives. Alistair explained how he works in 3 areas; 1) Business - where his mission is to awaken spirituality within business, 2) Martial Arts - where he helps people with their spiritual performance and 3) Grief - helping people overcome their feelings of loss, guilt, resentment, envy and fear.
Alistair explained to Nick how he believes that people need to be themselves in all areas of life and he helps people to find their core essence of being and purpose which he describes as being "The reason something exists" (according to the dictionary definition), and to find their spiritual focus, and he ultimately believes that our purpose is to love ourselves and each other more. He also teaches how our business (or work) and everyday life are not separate and we need to express ourselves in our business too. Alistair also shared his interest in Martial Arts and how it is both physically, mentally and spiritually empowering and that you have to love yourself including your aggressive side which can be controlled.
Alistair helps people to find INSPIRATIONS (not just motivations) and inspiration gives you motivation - and he pointed out that the word in Latin is 'inspiritato' meaning 'in spirit', and like Nick always says "do what gives you the most joy". Alistair posed the question that "If every job in the world paid the same money, what would you do?". He also pointed out that success is a sub-component to fulfilment and success is also just a label people usually put on people, so FULFILMENT is your own personal label for success. He also recommended watching the film What the Bleep which can be found at www.whatthebleep.com.
At Alistair's own company 'Certain Progress', his Consultants, Coaches and Trainers are all passionate about their mission and have all 'walked their talk' in their areas of expertise. Their purpose is to inspire people to sky-rocket their levels of performance and fulfilment, and empower people to expand their awareness, shift their mindset and release unrealised potential. He also runs his own empowering workshops.

Sherie Ann Danyluk
Businesswoman Sherie Ann Danyluk joined Nick and Alistair on the show to talk about her experiences with her business, her spiritual awakening, and the 'Chalet of Connections' she is now setting up for workshops on Self Discovery, as well her shared interest the discipline of Martial Arts.
She explained how she was brought up with the belief that "You have to work hard for your money" and money always played an important part in her family, so she grew up "wanting" money. She set-up her own popcorn business in Scotland and put her whole life and everything she owned into it, until an incident with a client meant that she nearly lost the whole business. Her younger brother died in a car accident and brought a message through in spirit for her husband telling him how to save the business, which he followed and it worked! Sherie Ann feels that her brother's death was a wake up call and she had "a moment of connection" and realised the wealth and success she had been striving for didn't matter.
Sherie Ann had learnt later that Native Americans first discovered popcorn and brought seeds as gifts for prosperity, health and happiness - and she mentioned how she origianlly met Nick after she requested that he draw her Spirit Guide Portrait (who is a Native American!).
Sherie Ann agreed that when you get to your goals you can actually be the most unhappy if you based them on achieving success and not what inspires you - just as Alistair had pointed out earlier in the show. Nick reiterated that the purpose of a goal or mission is fulfilment and that it is important not to race ahead always thinking into the future of achieving that goal, but to always "stay in the moment".
Inspired by this awakening she is now setting up a centre called the 'Chalet of Connections' to inspire people (especially women) with a Self Discovery Programme in Bathgate, Scotland. And she is still passionate about her popcorn business too - and we should remember of course that it doesn't matter what work you do, but that you can bring spiritual awareness into everything you do.
